I don’t know about you guys, but ever since I was little I’ve had a weakness for toast. Especially toast with avocado & the works. I’d eat all of these, but I’d definitely be going for the salt/pepper, hardboiled eggs/chives, & pepper flakes/hot sauce.🙊

King Pigeon pose progress; I can finally grab my foot! Which is more than I could do two weeks ago! Its crazy how fast you can condition the human body. I definitely owe a lot to my yoga strap which helped align my body correctly. My shoulders are still so stiff during this pose, but opening them up is just another goal to work towards. Also, I’m finally & officially a member of the muscle leggings muscle club💪
I apologize for my lack of posts the last few days. I’ve been sick with a cold that came out of now where & I’ve been taking it easy. I’m pretty confident I’ve consumed my body weight in herbal tea the last few days, 🍵 but I’m not complaining.👍 Expect more posts when I’m better! Also, Happy September! Aka Almost pumpkin-everything season! My birthday is on the 17th as well!💕
The 8 or so seconds I managed to get both hands up. 😂 This pose definitely takes the cake for being the most challenging balance pose I’ve ever done. I couldn’t get my right leg all the way down wihout feeling like I was going to fall forward. Practice, Persistence, & Patience👍
Just chillin’ 😎 Yoga inversion scorpion elbow stand. One of the more challenging balance poses I’ve taken on. I love it though.👍 I just need to get that other hand up.
Ending this long day with a little King Pigeon practice. My whole body is feeling sore, but it hurts so good. No pain, no gain 👊💢 This is only the second time I’ve attempted this pose with the assistance of a yoga strap, & only with my left leg forward. I need to open up my back more & focus on my hollow back handstands to stretch my shoulders. Let’s see where I am in a week! ✨
Finally made foot-to-head contact 😏 …with the assistance of my new platforms.🙊After seeing my progress yesterday I’ve been inspired & motivated to do yoga more often 👍 I also started recording myself practicing yoga instead of trying to beat my camera’s 10 second timer. If you’ve ever tried to get into a balance pose in less than 10 seconds…, then you know how difficult it is. I wish I would have thought of it sooner!
Here’s some incredible breakfast inspiration by the lovely @anniskk. It almost looks TOO good to eat! 😍🍴 This blue is with banana, yellow plums, green currants, soygurt, spirulina - topped with nana, blackcurrants, flaxseeds, chia seeds, coconut, bee pollen and homemade cacao-goji muesli.
Today is a good day. Mere seconds after this photo was taken I made toe-to-bun contact!😱 Something I’ve been working for what feels like forever. I looked back at a photo of my first ever scorpion pose attempt (accompanied by wall & extreme banana back) & if anyone would have told me I’d be able to do the above, I’d ask who they were trying to kid?! In the beginning I was always hesitant to try poses like this because I didn’t think I had the strength, the balance, the patience, blah blah. I thought I would surely hurt/hospitalize myself. The mind is a powerful thing, once you get over your fear, believe in yourself, your abilities, & actually TRY you will be amazed at what you can accomplish. But it will always start with that first attempt, & you won’t be perfect or a pro right away. It does take time & patience, but its worth it. 💕✨ Next goal is to get my feet to my head. 👍🙊

This couldn’t be anymore true. The body achieves what the mind believes. If you’re confident in your abilities & goals you will push through to reach them. If you doubt yourself & your abilities, you will be likely to put less effort in. Train yourself to believe giving up isn’t an option, because it isn’t. Train your mind to be as strong as your body & visa versa. This applies not only to your fitness, but in other parts of your life. Believe you can & you will. This is your life, stop waiting for tomorrow & start today. 👍 Be the person to lift someone higher when they’re filled with self doubt. Be a light in someone’s life.✨
Oddly enough, burpees & squats are two of my favorites. I know a lot of people haaaaate them, but I feel the most worked out when I do them.🙊 I decided to start doing this workout when I first wake up in the morning to rev up my metabolism, along with downing at least 8oz of ice cold lemon water. 💪 Do work.
